Brian & Elisabeth's Sonoma Trip

September 16th Morning

This mornings weather was quite different then yesterdays. There was no fog and it was pretty warm. We went to another farmers market this morning in Windsor to get a few more things for us to cook tonight. At dinner last night we had this awesome wine so we found out where it was located and went to that first thing this morning. The picture is of Bella winery and the entrance to the 7000 sq ft cave that houses the tasting room and storage facility. The grapes vines shown are the ones that are in the wine that we bought. We then went to this winery that was up on a hill that was closed to visitors unless you made a reservation 24hrs in advance. We did a wine and cheese pairing which was excellent. All the cheeses were farmstead cheeses which means that the cheese is produced from only one farm usually by the farmer. All of the cheeses came from Sonoma County which was pretty cool.
